“The funky riverbug”
It is still a little spread type of water sport originating from New Zealand. Founder Graeme Boddy’s basic idea: To develop an easy to handle and stable boat for one person, where control requires no previous experience. Specifically, an inflatable boat for one person, operated by a special technique. It is controlled with the hands and feet.
Whether you’re looking for an adrenaline rush, fun with friends, surfing the waves, want to try a few tricks, learn to Eskimo, or just let the current take you – we’ll show you how to have a lot of fun with Riverbug. All our tours take place on one of the most beautiful rivers in Europe, the Salza.
Riverbug on the Salza
It doesn’t matter if you have experience with white or any water, Riverbug is also for beginners. Of course, even advanced players will find something to do. What you can’t do with a kayak is much easier on the Riverbug.
Thanks to its stability, the Riverbug forgives the rider almost every mistake. In no other boat does one gain confidence so easily and quickly on the white water. Tipping over? No problem, on the contrary, a lot of fun and surprise how incredibly easy it is to get back on the boat.
