Because there is something for everyone. Children in kinderland, beginners and advanced skiers on the perfectly groomed slopes, but also freeriders off the slopes in the forest or on the steep slopes of Großen Kar.
And waiting in line for a lift? Almost never!
It is skiable at an altitude of 1380 – 1808 m.a.s.l. As the only peak in the Lower Austrian Alps, it guarantees stable snow conditions throughout the winter. The season usually starts at the beginning of December (depending on snow conditions) and lasts until Easter Monday, but even then it is usually full of snow.
